Coming into today, UGA seemed to be comfortably in, and Alabama needed a win. That is what everyone in the world was saying. Alabama got the win (thanks in large part to UGA coach Mark Fox's antics). Alabama has now beaten UGA twice in one week.........who should be in?
Kenpom has Alabama as 46th, UGA as 53. Okay, but his rankings are 'predictive' rankings. They tell you who would win on a neutral floor if played today, and dont take into account records, who won, etc....and of course he was right in this case.
UGA is 39 in RPI, Bama 83 (why do people look at this?)
UGA has beaten Kentucky, Tennessee, and Colorado.
Bama has beaten Kentucky, Tennessee, and perhaps most importantly UGA twice.
UGA's SOS is 40, Bamas 153.
My guess is that both will be in. If it were just one, I don't see how you put UGA in over Bama. Of course, both will get in, Tenn will get in, and half of the worst major conference in the nation will get in. Might as well just fucking invite Auburn and LSU while theyre at it.
