Thurs Recap, Friday Preview

The excitement of sitting 5th row at staples and seeing a great game between Wash and Wash State has propelled me to write this. That being said, Im running on fumes right now, so this may be short.

Colorado, USC, UGA, BC, Memphis, Michigan State, New Mexico, Tenn, and Va Tech all won today, each affecting their bubble chances to a varying degree. All will now face tougher tests. See below). Washington State, Colorado State, Southern Miss, and UAB all lost, and will be watching the tournament from home (i.e. playing in the NIT).

Tomorrow, the big boys come out to play. That means Duke, UNC, Ohio State, Purdue, Wisconsin, etc. The other tournaments that have already had the big boys out have great final fours.

Of the bubble teams playing tomorrow:

Clemson v. BC at 230 PM EST.
UGA v Bama at 1 PM
Illinois (-3) v Michigan 230
Michigan State v Purdue 630
Colorado v Kansas 700
New Mexico v BYU 900
USC v Arizona 900
Richmond v Rhode Island 900
VT v FSU 930

And dont forget about the big east tournament. Pretty good final four there, uconn v cuse, and nd v lville.

PAC10

I warned you about Oregon. They came out and shot the ball extremely well again tonight. UCLA never got Reeves Nelson going, and they looked half asleep throughout. Awful performance.

Wash Wash State was one of the better games of the year. Klay Thompson scored 43, but Wash countered with a balanced attack. All 5 starters scored 12+, and 4 scored 15+. Ultimately, Wash State turned the ball over too much. Its a shame they are knocked out of the tournament on such a hard fought battle.

Ill be back throughout the day tomorrow, updating. ESPN3 has changed my life. Tomorrow, I will have multiple windows open, each with a Picture in Picture in the screen. I will be at Staples again tomorrow night, unable to blog until late, and when I do, probably half asleep again.
